Put 1molN, n-dimethylcocotinamide, appropriate amount of water (as solvent) and appropriate amount of chelating agent into the reaction kettle, and heat up to 55~60℃ under stirring. At this temperature, hydrogen peroxide is added. After the drip is finished, the temperature is raised to 70~75℃ until the end of the reaction. The general reaction time is 4~12h. After the reaction is finished, the product is cooled and discharged into packaging
Cocamidopropylamine Oxide Overview
Cocamidopropylamine Oxide is a chemical compound commonly used in the formulation of personal care and cleaning products. It belongs to the class of amine oxides, which are surfactants, or surface-active agents, that help to reduce the surface tension of liquids and enable better mixing of different substances.
Cocamidopropylamine Oxide is derived from coconut oil and is often used as a foaming agent, viscosity builder, and conditioning agent in various products such as shampoos, body washes, liquid soaps, and household cleaners. It helps to create a rich lather and improve the consistency of these products, making them easier to apply and spread.
As a surfactant, Cocamidopropylamine Oxide has both hydrophilic (water-loving) and lipophilic (fat-loving) properties. This makes it effective at removing dirt, oil, and other impurities from the skin, hair, or surfaces. It helps to emulsify oils and dirt particles, allowing them to be rinsed away easily.
